Neurobiology 2.0

Neurobiology is a complex and challenging subject, but this course is designed to bring clarity to the complexity. Counselors will learn both basic principles and cutting-edge theories that will help shape their understanding of neurobiology. This course will teach counselors how to use neurobiological principles in therapy.

NEUR 101: Introduction: Interpersonal Neurobiology

Interpersonal neurobiology involves the mind, brain, and self or relationships with others. NEUR 102: Foundations: Core Principles of Neurobiology

NEUR 103: Applications: Practice Models and Neurobiology

This presentation is unique in length and topics covered, as there is much information included in this one lecture. While divided into three components, this presentation flows as one. Students will have the opportunity to learn a great deal regarding the neurobiological system through this lesson, particularly in the area of application.
